This high-octane 1977 space fantasy is like nothing that came before it and influenced sci-fi movies for years to come. In a far-off galexy Luke Skywalker is living on a farm with his aunt and uncle when he stumbles upon a distress message from a capture princess, held by the evil Empire on something called the Death Star. Before you can say "hyperspace", Luke joins up with the sage Ben Kenobi, mercenary pilot Han Solo, Chewbacca the Wookie, and a pair of curious droids in an effort to free Princess Leia from the Empire and their ominous enforcer, Darth Vader.
